How to copy a line

Long press on the text to copy and the android menu will appear showing options -

This doesn't always work. Often, when trying to copy more than one word of text, after dragging the selection tab over the desired words to copy or cut, the highlight disappears as soon as you let go of the tab.

I have had this issue as well.
